FAQs

Q?Is it confidential?
A.

I am a member of BACP and accredited with COSRT and work within their Ethical Framework and Code of Ethics.

Q?Is it helpful?
A.

In my experience all people benefit from the opportunity to talk about their issues within a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment. Knowing a therapist has heard your or similar stories before and seen others change things in their life for the better, can be helpful in itself. But in addition talking to someone who gives more understanding of yourself and the world around, can really be life changing!

Q?How many sessions do I need?
A.

Therapy is something that can be accessed at different times in your life, for short or longer periods. Meeting a therapist and feeling they can help you is important. I work in a collaborative way to ensure you are achieving the goals you set for therapy and enabling a conversation to check you are getting what you need from the therapy.

Q?How do I request a session?
A.

Please go to my contact page, I work at the Beechwood Complementary Medical Centre on a Monday. I also do Skype and Telephone counselling which is available at a mutually convenient time.
